For the past four years I have worked with small family farmers in the ¨Eyebrow of the Jungle¨ zone of Peru. In these remote valleys the rich mountainous terrain creates a range of microclimates where farmers tend diverse "food forests" which mimic the natural form of the Amazon Jungle that lies below. The absolute purity of these unspoiled lands and crystalline waters is what enchanted me upon my first visit and what keeps me coming back.
